Pain.

I try not to give in to the endless pain in my back, but there are days on which it - the pain - overwhelms me and I can't do anything but sink beneath the weight.

I have an MRI this Friday morning.

The results of that will determine exactly which surgical procedure I have to face.

I must have surgery. I have no other option.

I'm SCARED!

I sleep very little, because of the pain in my back, but when I DO sleep, I dream horrible dreams about the surgery!

My family try to be understanding about the state I'm in now, but they have so much going on in their own lives, they can't POSSIBLY grasp my pain.

I want to scream ALL the time!
